VLT % is the amount of light allowed to pass through the tint
5% is Darkest - Lets less light pass through
70% is the lightest - Lets More light pass through

Some cars come factory between 20% to 80%

Iowa Law - Driver and Passenger front Doors no darker then 70% VLT

South Dakota Law - Driver and Passenger front Doors no darker then 35% VLT

I can tint the windows as dark as you prefer, But you know the laws.
